Dr Sarah Love is a well-known physiotherapist and leader with over 35 years’ experience in clinical, academic and management positions within disability. Prior to her appointment as Chief Executive Officer for DAWA, Dr Love held roles in public and private health, NFP disability organisations and in universities.
An award-winning educator, advocate, researcher, knowledge translator and adjunct professor at University of Notre Dame Australia, Dr Love has collaborated with people with disability in all aspects of her work. She is passionate about improving the experience for people with lived experience of disability, and her catch cry is “not about us without us”. She values excellence, equity, and choice; embraces the enormous opportunity that an impartial collective voice brings to disability services here in WA; and looks forward to supporting people with disability, their networks, their families and all those who care for and about West Australians living with disability.
